Never touched clay? This is where to start. In two hours you’ll learn to centre a lump of clay on the wheel, open it up and pull it into a cup, bowl or small vase — with a tutor at your elbow the whole way.

You’ll make two or three pieces and pick your favourite to keep. We’ll glaze and fire it for you, and it’ll be ready to collect about 2 weeks later.

Groups of no more than 10, so everyone gets proper time with the tutor. Clay, tools, aprons and firing all included. Just wear something you don’t mind getting messy and come as you are.
